Camp Hollow Creek operated in the Pocono Mountains from 1973 to 1984. Eleven seasons. Hundreds of campers. One slogan: Friends for Life.
The camp did not close voluntarily. The circumstances surrounding the closure are still a mystery.
What you're looking at is what survived.
The shirts were recalled before the close of the camp in 1984. Raymond Hollister, part owner of Camp Hollow Creek, said it was a printing issue. We never got a straight answer about how many were recovered.

In 1980 they filmed Friday the 13th sixty miles
from here. Camp Hollow Creek was already eleven years into something that
couldn't be explained. Pike County, pa. 1973–1984. I found a box of documents.

Found this in the box. Camp Hollow Creek, Pike County, PA. It's a camp brochure. There's a note paperclipped to the front. Handwritten. 'All remaining inventory to be collected and returned to R. Hollister by end of August. Do not distribute further.' No date. No reason. R. Hollister gave that order. Whoever had this kept it anyway and paperclipped the note to it. There's a cover photo of twelve kids on a dock. I've been looking at it for three days. I can't tell you what's wrong with it. Something is.

photo in the brochure. I found the original print in the box. It became more
